I love having full Internet access from the car. I can get on Mapquest to find alternate routes while traveling and what's especially valuable for me is being able to check my work email, work on projects and make use of travel time while a passenger. Those routers worked fine at the house, but once I put them on the car it was hopelessly frustrating. They just can't keep a signal for some reason, but the Autonet was rock solid. Even in areas where my cell phone was marginal my Autonet stayed up. The best thing about Autonet though is their customer service. Even though they use Sprint and Verizon, they have their own tech support. They were able to help me get everything going and when I needed support with the MiFi, I had to go through Sprint. (You can guess how that turned out) |
