Tried to wireless stream signal for the world series but kept getting interference. Bought this for a less than a 100 and it worked great. Connected from the directv box and hooked up to hd projector outside for our tailgating party. Just remember that this is a one way cable which is not labeled clearly. Took us 30 minutes to figure out that we had to reverse connection the first time. Since they have an amplifier in them they only work in one direction so read the instructions and you won't have any problems. I am using them to send full HD video to two projectors and there isn't any loss of signal. My "Time Warner" cable box only has ONE HDMI output and I wanted to send signal to two TVs. Both TVs will have the SAME channel displayed of course and that is OK with me. I output the HDMI signal from the cable box with a "Media Bridge" 3' cable and then went to a "View HD", 4 port HDMI amplified splitter. This 100' cable was then fed from the splitter, through my basement ceiling the length of my house to an upstairs room TV. I may not have needed this amplified cable since the splitter is amplified as well but it worked perfectly. The only problem I have is about a 3 to 4 second delay between channel changes. I suspect that is because the HDMI signal has to be sychronized through amplifiers each time a channel is changed. Without the splitter through this cable alone, it is about 2 seconds between channel changes. With the splitter, it is about 3 to 4 seconds to change channels. This does not bother me... Read more |
