This Was a super fast delivery. I am a U.S. Soldier currently in Iraq and this was received within less than a week. The product itself was awesome. To be honest i was looking at an Alienware before this but they refused to accept my order due to the fact I'm stationed in Iraq. So i went with what i was told was the next best thing. And it was half the price. I've owned many other brands of computer gaming systems and this was by far my favorite so far. The stock RAM usage was a little high but easily fixable. Defiantly a good system i would suggest and especially for the low cost.

I have had this computer for about a month now and I love it.
For the price, this computer can't be beat. A comparable Dell for example is $500 more.
I chose to remove one of the hard drives and put in a 120GB solid state drive, which boosted the already great performance considerably for $150. I use the now extra 500GB drive for external storage. Performance wise, the only draw back is that its at the maximum memory already, no memory upgrade capability.
The bloatware from Toshiba was no worse then HP, Dell, ect...but still not great. Screen and enclosure are beautiful.
Could you get a better notebook? Sure, but will it be worth the extra cost, doubtful...

Purchased an X505-Q885 thru CostCo to get the extra year of warranty. Big deal, don't think it will matter. Toshiba won't honor their own warranty verbiage for the first year! Hard drive has issues after 3-4 months, Toshiba warranty states that I can do the replacement, but Toshiba reps say different. Toshiba warranty states that they can send the parts to me for repair, Toshiba rep states different. Ask about taking it to an Authorized Service Provider for In-Warranty repair, am told that that is not an option, that I would have to pay for it, and that it "may" void my warranty. I wouldn't buy another Toshiba product if you paid me to after this nor recommend them to anybody else.
