EAch shelf holds 100 lbs! The template you put up for drilling is brilliant, pretty tough to screw this one up. Takes a bit of tinkering to get the shelves adjusted evenly but not really that much of an issue. I love the shelves overall however be advised the channel for routing wires in is very small and many common plug end will not fit. You mayeed to cut wires and put on new plug ends. Unfortunately I have a stud running right through the center of the wall so I only have the option of having this off center to the left, or off center to the right, and because it's a wall panel that's only 45" wide, it would make the glass shelves protrude off the wall. In fairness to Amazon, I'm able to return this without paying the return charge, and this item is high quality, sturdy, and good looking, but it's setting back my home entertainment project about a week. Will try the single stud mount Vantage point with thinner shelves in lieu of this. |
