First of all, I'd like to say that the packaging is very consumer friendly. Very easy to open and sturdy. The external drive itself is very sleek and small. I'd say it's a little larger and thicker than an iphone. It has a slightly grippy bottom side which prevents the drive from sliding around on a hard surface. The top side has a metallic finish that looks really nice, but tends to hold fingerprints. One of my favorite aspects is that you don't need an external power supply as the drive is powered via the single usb cable.
